EMD Technical Engine Course
This course provides interactive instructions for the EMD roots-blown and turbocharged engines. Course contents include a study of all major engine components, assemblies, systems, and technical data limits required to operate and maintain an EMD engine in power, marine and industrial applications. Hands-on activities and interactive discussions give a practical background in the basic repair, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of the EMD engine.
EMD Practical Engine Course
This course provides both in-depth study and hands-on experience in tasks such as power assembly change out and engine timing. Emphasis is placed on the actual performance of selected tasks in a laboratory training environment. Installation, inspection, and qualification of components is covered. Ample technical information and hands-on training, combined with oral presentations, gives a solid background in advanced maintenance procedures and repairs. Advanced troubleshooting, parts identification and ordering, engine modification, and upgrades are covered.

This course is designed for technical support personnel, operators, mechanics, managers and all other personnel responsible for the efficient operation of the Woodward product. These site customized three day courses offer informative oral presentations and demonstrations as well as hands-on activities and interactive discussions.
